This Yarchen Gar Tibetan Incense is made in Baiyu County in Kardze, eastern Tibet by Yarchen Gar Monastery. Many of Yarchen Gar’s residents are female, giving the community its nickname, the City of Nuns. It is made with over 100 ingredients including sandalwood and medicinal ingredients. This incense may be used for purification.

The Incense Stick aims to provide the best Tibetan style incense that is made from only pure herbal ingredients that are compounded from various plant products such as leaves, twigs and resins. These are collected, powdered and turned into sticks and incense powders following an age old traditional Tibetan Buddhist process.
