This Yarchen Gar Purifying Incense Powder is made in Baiyu County in Kardze, eastern Tibet by Yarchen Gar Monastery. Many of Yarchen Gar’s residents are female, giving the community its nickname, the City of Nuns. According to the packaging, this incense contains the hair of Guru Padmasambhava, the hair of Yeshe Tsogyal, the relics of Longchenpa, the physical relics of Jigme Lingpa, sacred objects of Lerab Longpa the Tertön, blessed pills from Gato Monastery, the robes and hair of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the hair and robes of Achuk Rinpoche, as well as the robes and relics of many wise and accomplished masters from India and Tibet, and other sacred objects. It is made from sacred earth and plants from holy places in Tibet. This incense may be used for purification. This is a very special incense.
