Since 1995, at the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy, these materials have been consecrated by many monastics during each of the four major annual prayer festivals, such as Garwang Rigdzin 'bum tshogs'. Furthermore, it includes blessed junipers from sacred sites in all directions and substances that have been extensively consecrated and empowered by numerous monasteries. This incense has been gathered and distributed for the benefit of all beings without partiality. It may be used for purification of unfavorable conditions in this life such as illnesses, demonic influences, and obstacles. In particular, it is certain to be supreme for cleansing all types of drib.
