This incense burner is made of brass and is adjustable. It can be used to burn resins with a candle instead of charcoal. This allows for a much more subtle burn. WARNING: We recommend burning any resin with a low melting point on a piece of aluminum foil in the burner. If the resin is burned too close to the flame or has a low melting point and drips on the candle, this may cause a fire.

I really love my burner. It is exactly what it was advertised as.
I love this candle-based incense burner as an alternative to burning loose incense on a charcoal disc. The gentler heat of the candle articulates individual fragrances of blends much better than charcoal and produces minimal or no smoke!
It's worth having 1-2 two extra replacement screens. I wrap one in foil for resins and finely ground incense blends and use the plain screen for coarser blends.
