I really love my burner. It is exactly what it was advertised as.
I love this candle-based incense burner as an alternative to burning loose incense on a charcoal disc. The gentler heat of the candle articulates individual fragrances of blends much better than charcoal and produces minimal or no smoke!
It's worth having 1-2 two extra replacement screens. I wrap one in foil for resins and finely ground incense blends and use the plain screen for coarser blends.
It is a nice, brass bowl. Fulfills its purpose
I am loving my burner. I was struggling with loose incense on charcoal being too smoky some of the time, but this is perfect for gentle aroma without the smoke
Charcoal disks were failing me as a way to burn resin incense (frankincense, myrrh). This burner is working perfectly. Charming solid piece. Definitely recommend.
Definitely use aluminum foil to hold resin incense - it turns to liquid quickly when the flame tip is 3/4" from the bowl. At that setting, the incense seems to simmer and very slowly emit a solid wisp of smoke.
My concerns at time of purchase are resolved:
1) Tealight candles fit in the base.
2) The bowl can be moved easily and the screw tightens up securely.

Excellent product if you want to smoke wood chips for incense... its amazing. Only caveat is replacement filters. I wish they charge a buck or two more and add oone or two more filter plate(s).
