Tiny Green Tara Prayer Flags | 2.7in x 3.3in | 1 strand of 10 flags | Jetsun Dölma

This beautiful tiny set of 10 Tibetan prayer flags, each measuring 2.7x3.3 inches and in five colors features the image of Green Tara, the revered female Buddha of Compassion imprinted in black ink.

Green Tara is believed to have originated from the tears of compassion shed by the Buddha Avalokiteshvara. According to legend, she was once a princess who vowed to always be reborn as a woman until all beings are free from suffering.

She is known as the Mother of all Buddhas, as she is the embodiment of the wisdom and compassion of all the Buddhas.
These flags are especially good to hang to counter the effects of fear. Green Tara is often associated with protection and the granting of wishes, and her mantra is "Om Tare Tu Tare Ture Soha".

Prayer flags are traditionally hung as expressions of prayer, aspiration and bodhicitta and are associated in Tibetan Buddhist traditions with blessing and purification.
