This very special Tibetan Juniper (Juniperus sp.) powder comes from the snow covered plateau of Dzitsa Degu in Tibet at an altitude of 5,000 meters. It is ground from the fresh needles of juniper trees and is a great base for making traditional incense, both stick and powder blends. It has a nice fresh fragrance on its own and can be burned as a single note herb. Himalayan Juniper is the base of many Tibetan incense sticks and is the base of most sang offering mixtures. We are very excited to be able to offer this amazingly fragrant material for making incense and offerings.

The Incense Stick aims to provide the best Tibetan style incense that is made from only pure herbal ingredients that are compounded from various plant products such as leaves, twigs and resins. These are collected, powdered and turned into sticks and incense powders following an age old traditional Tibetan Buddhist process.
