Sindura Powder | Tibet | Approx 32 grams | Mount Kailash

This Sindura Powder is sourced from the sacred Mount Kailash, and is pure and additive-free. Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche explains, it is said to be present in all the sacred places such as twenty-four sacred places, or the thirty-two hallowed lands where the tantric teachings are flourishing; whereas in the places where Dzogchen is flourishing one would find crystal. Sindura extracted from one of these sacred places, such as Mount Kailash, is said to be especially blessed. It is specifically used in Tantric rituals: offerings to Mother Tantric deities, the application of pigments to the third eye, and is also a superior pigment for thangka painting.
