This Shechen Surpoe Incense Powder is made at Shechen Monastery in Nepal according to ancient Tibetan tradition. Sur is burned by Buddhists as a pure and sacred food offering to beings who are wandering in the bardo or are stuck in the hungry ghost and hell realms. Shechen Surpoe contains all the necessary ingredients to alleviate through the sur offering.
The Incense Stick aims to provide the best Tibetan style incense that is made from only pure herbal ingredients that are compounded from various plant products such as leaves, twigs and resins. These are collected, powdered and turned into sticks and incense powders following an age old traditional Tibetan Buddhist process. Unlike mass produced and artificially scented incense, Tibetan style incense produces a complex earthy natural scent.
