Nine Headed Scorpion Pendant | 925 Silver | Approx .75 inches long x .50 inches wide | Tibet | Guru Rinpoche

This beautifully depicted nine headed scorpion pendant is made of 925 silver. There is a clasp at the tail so that it can be worn on a chain or cord or clipped onto a mala. It has a purbha on the underside of the body. Scorpions are depicted in the iconography of a number of wrathful deities in Tibetan Buddhism. They represent the power to dispel obstacles and negative forces like gyalpo spirits and other spirits that cause mental illness and other obstacles.

These are hand made and have some slight variations between items.
