This beautiful Gesar Gau Amulet Box features a relief of Gesar majestically riding his magical steed of compassion, Kyang Go Karkar. The ghau may be filled with precious mantra rolls or other blessed items. Once filled, it is recommended that it be super glued together.

King Gesar is a legendary warrior-king of Tibet who is believed to have lived in the 11th century. His story is the centerpiece of one of the world's longest epic poems, the Gesar Epic, which is said to have over 100 volumes and millions of lines of verse. The epic is a mixture of history and myth, and tells the story of King Gesar's conquests, battles with demons, and his eventual enlightenment.

King Gesar is revered by many Tibetans as not only a powerful protector and a symbol of strength, courage, and enlightened wisdom but also as an emanation of Guru Padmasambhava.
