This Guru Padmasambhava Subduing Vajra Seal Pendant is made of bronze gilt and features a beautiful depiction of Guru Rinpoche on the front and Guru Rinpoche's seal for subduing demons on the back.

When Samye Monastery was built, there were many obstacles. Through his supreme wisdom and power, Guru Padmasambhava subdued the demons of this area and ordered them to protect the Dharma and practitioners and likewise, assist in the construction of Samye Monastery. Guru Rinpoche further ordered these Dharma protectors to protect practitioners who hold this seal. The seal represents the protection of Guru Rinpoche and the Dharma protectors.

Guru Padmasambhava's original seal was discovered as a terma object and is a treasure of Samye Monastery in Shannan, Tibet.

These are considered very powerful items and should be used respectfully.
