This sang/sur incense burner is made of ceramic with a gold takdröl imprinted on the bottom. The takdrö (yantra) is one of "the five practices of enlightenment without meditation" and it's inclusion on the offering plate helps connect and increase the power of liberation of all beings. Due to the handmade nature of this item imperfections are considered part of the character of the piece. It is recommended to place ash in the bottom of the bowl before burning sang offering.
