Aluminum Naga Blessing Tile | Approx 2 in x 2 in | Tibet | Water Blessing

This naga water blessing aluminum tile is imprinted on both sides with the Naga Vase Mandala as well as many additional mantras and dharanis. The Naga Vase Mandala is a hidden treasure predicted by Guru Padmasambhava that was revealed by the great terton Rinchen Lingpa in the 14th century. The mandala is made according to a stone scripture plate located at Larung Gar Buddhist Academy in Kham. A mandala is equivalent to a Buddha or Bodhisattva's pure land so the merits and benefits of offering these stones are extremely great. Although the design appears simple, the impacts are huge so do not take it lightly. Only those with great blessings have the possibility of seeing this mandala in this lifetime. It is said that the placement of these into water such as rivers, springs, and oceans will bless the spirits of the water (nagas) AS WELL AS all other living beings living in and drinking the water.

When placing these in bodies of water, please adhere to the same protocols as you would for any naga offering. There are specific guidelines to making naga offerings however, minimally please, clean your body and wear clean clothing and refrain from meat, alcohol, onions, or garlic prior to offering on the day of placement.
