The photo of this item was done in a way that made the spoon seem quite larger relative to the hand behind it (either that, or those are really small hands), so be careful if you are buying from this seller. The size in the photo might be deceptive. It didn't really matter to me, because I think this is a beautifully-crafted spoon that will suit my needs.
